This is an excellent all original example of a late war German Model 42 Steel helmet. This stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains about 75% of its original paint, with a large area on the crown missing paint. This helmet is for the Wehrmacht, the general term for the German armed forces, as it does not have any decals to identify any particular unit. More than likely near the end of the war, making sure a
