This is a tremendous example of a Japanese Good Luck flag, with the names of dozens of Japanese friends and family of the departing soldier. This hand painted cloth flag is marked with battle quotes such as "Congratulations", and "Good Luck and Military Prayers". One small signature in the bottom left reads as Private Yasuo, who may have been the carrier of this flag, or one of the friends of the departing. The flag
