and it's worth dedicating a few extra lines to the aromatic depth that is put so beautifully on display as the wine slowly unfolds

and gobs of ripe tannin

It has very fine delineation with aromas of licorice and orange rind

these are terrific wines

Domaine du Pegau, Chateauneuf du Pape, Cuvee Reservee 2015 EARTH (WK) (4/2019)93 CellarTracker Grenache forward CdP, with raspberries, kirsch, strawberry sauce, grilled meat, and a perfumey floral spice character. It seemed to show just a bit of age in the color of the wine in the glass, but on the nose and in the mouth it seems quite young, drinking best after a few hours in air. 93 now but should improve with two or three more years and drink well though 2035. 9 26 2025
