S. Navy M1870 Remington Rolling block rifle, the Type 2 being somewhat more distinctive than the Type 1. It is a lovely double edged sword bayonet with a 20" blade, measuring 25 overall. It features a distinctive solid brass hilt with a feather scale design cast into the grip. The ricasso is marked with: U. S. N. GGS1871 With the
