The clump of very upright glossy green foliage is topped, starting for us in late August and continuing into October, with 3' tall, sturdy stalks, each ending in 6 lovely, fragrant, white, outfacing flowers, heavily striped with burgundy pink. You haven't lived until you've invited a Bayou Belle into your garden.
