Stoneware Urn #4 L&Clay Ceramics The lower section of theStoneware footed urn, hand thrown on the wheel in a white stoneware clay in several parts. Pieced together by hand once each piece is leather hard, smoothed, finished and allowed to dry slowly under plastic wrap for several weeks. Fired once to 1000 degrees celsius, then signed, waxed, and dipped into a glossy transparent glaze. Once dry the piece is ready for its final 1240 degree firing.
