This is a stellar Vietnam War NVA VC issue grenade with the head being a pineapple style. The shaft is removable and the bottom cap of the grenade is intact, rare to see. Interestingly, there is a reed which has been twisted around and wrapped around the pineapple head to keep it attached to the shaft. These are becoming increasingly more difficult to find.
