The chin strap  is missing (common) but all other strap including the strap that secures the three flaps together are present

which had the belt clip attached directly to the metal throat of the scabbard

and likely ended in or around 1878 with the introduction of the 2nd model

we had these years ago and just discovered a forgotten crate
