Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 46. 47 mm (w) x 53. 74 mm (h), weighing 31. 1 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
