Made by the Austrian Weapons Factory Limited, which is abbreviated in German on the gun to read; OESTERR. WAFFFB. GES. The weapon is dated 1876 and covered in German acceptance and proof stampings. Single shot 10. 4mm, bolt action this is what replaced the Dreyse needle fire
