Presumably some member of the Romanian royal household may have been studying artillery with the French Military sometime shortly after the turn of the Century

This is a lovely pair of French drinking cups which were engraved by a soldier, or possibly two different soldiers, confined at the Mnster Prisoner of War Camp during World War I. One of the cups has lovely floral motifs with 1914 and 1915 engraved around a name, Sylvaine. The second cup has the years 1914, 1915, and 1916 engraved several times under PRISONNIER A MNSTER, and under this is the name E. DELDICOUE.
