This is an incomplete Flintlock pistol dating from about 1820 originating from the Ottoman Empire. In fact, this pistol has a magnificent early 18th century gold inlaid cannon barrel that appears to have English proof marks (Crown "V"). The barrel is almost 8. 5 inches in length not including the tang that has had some later modification for it's Ottoman life that can be easily remedied. The rest of the pistol which came
