A Military Order Of The Christ, Grand Cross Case, By Joaquim Augusto Da Costa Hold introduced in July of 1943This is a very well preserved case of issue for a Military Order of the Christ, accommodating a Grand Cross with neck ribbon. The frame is constructed of heavy card stock with a textured faux red leather exterior. The obverse lid is decorated with a gold embossed royal crown and initials of King Carlos I, with detailed embossed borders. The interior of the lid features a padded, red, satin type liner embossed with a makers mark of Joaquim Augusto Da
