Germany, Federal Republic. A U-Boat Clasp, Silver Grade, 1957 Version certificate_of_authenticity using forced labour(U Boot Frontspange). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a central laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by crossed swords, around a central depiction of a U Boat on a hollow background, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, the reverse with a crimped hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 77. 24 mm (w) x 23. 83 mm (h), weighing 24. 4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
