Following the basic pattern of the British Type B flight helmet this Australian produced version is constructed of leather with chamois lignin and zipper earphone covers. There is a tag inside that reads: V5050 Made is Australia 1943 Size The size is approximately 58cm (Us 7 1 4). Overall condition is very good with the only detraction being damage to the zippers on each ear and one ear is missing the foam cup. RAAF
