We would pair it with freshly grilled bratwurst, topped with sauerkraut and mustard. The grape was discovered in the wild and was traditionally used in the Austrian field blend Gemischter Satz. In 1966 Karl Georg Zahel selected and planted it as a single variety to help it stand out on its own. Orange Traube literally translates to "Orange Grape", but is not to be confused with orange wine the grapes are
