Waldeck, Principality. A Military Merit Medal, Silver Grade, C.1915 Newly Listed Nova Scotia on February 8th(Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 26 December 1878 by Prince George Victor. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a monogram of Prince George Victor, the reverse with an inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT), unmarked, measuring 30. 55 mm in diameter, weighing 18. 5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
