The doublet bears the correct "Hunting Horn" buttons of the King's Royal Rifle Corps

The blade bears serial number 1639 / Y

There are some dents in the scabbard body

It has the correct early war OD green #3 Chin strap with a stamped steel buckle and brass clip

It appears that this example needs a new mainspring and to be repaired. The watch was manufactured in 1945 for Pilots and Navigators in the US Army Air Force (USAAF). Watch case is 30mm and made of high quality stainless steel. It features a Waltham hand
