The label takes its name from "Fauvism", a short lived artistic style movement from the early 20th century, lead by Henri Matisse and Andre Derain Fauvism was characterized by its use of bold colors and exaggerated brushstrokes, adjacent to the impressionist style. Fauves' design takes inspiration from classic American
