This is a fantastic example of a WWII era US Army Dress Blues Uniform Peaked Visor for a General Officer. The underside of the visor has a small name sticker identifying the owner as Brigadier General Hampton Anderson. General Anderson served with the 27th Division during World War I, with the New York National Guard through the 20s and 30s, and served through World War II to the Korean War before retiring in 1954.
