this is probably the most impressive large growing hosta (5'+ wide) that I have ever seen

since there few other plants with this form and texture

this impatiens is virtually impossible to root from cuttings

Kniphofia Shining Sceptre Central America (aka: Ophiopogon 'Nigrescens'From England's Blooms of Bressingham comes this wonderful hybrid poker that has performed superbly in the heat of the southeastern US. The thick green leaves form a 3' wide clump of attractive glossy green foiage, topped in September with an abundance of 3' stalks of golden orange a nice change from the typical bright orange of red hot pokers. We're pretty sure this is a hybrid of Kniphofia rooperi.
