Now this is truly magnificent! The Poop Deck on a ship was the platform above the cabin, the highest and farthest aft position on the ship. From here the captain had the best vantage point available on the deck. Royal Navy ships of the Napoleonic era were well decorated, and it seems that this lovely small ships figurehead once adorned the Poop Deck on the H. M. S. Minerva. Known as a 5th Rate Warship of the MINERVA CLASS
