Germany, Drk. An Honour Cross Of The German Red Cross, I Class Newly Listed Ontario Coat-of-Arms Badge(Ehrenzeichen des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes, I. Klasse). Instituted 30 January 1934 by Duke Carl Eduard of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. (1934 1937 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse overlaid by a central black enameled DRK style German national eagle, in turn bearing a DRK insignia, the twelve oclock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring connecting to a period original
