Germany, Imperial. A 1912 General Merit Medal Archive Captain at Sea Hans-Rudolf Rösing(Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with an inscription of VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT (SERVICE TO THE STATE) inside of a laurel wreath, the reverse with the monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II above a date of 1912, unmarked, measuring 39. 20 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
