Anhalt. A House Order Of Albert The Bear, Silver Merit Medal, C.1900 Archive and the pants have light(Hausorden Albrecht des Bren, Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 18 November 1836. (1904 1919 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, the obverse displaying a crowned bear walking on top of a fortress wall, circumscribed by inscription FRCTHE GOTT UND BEFOLGE SEINE BEFEHLE (FEAR GOD AND OBEY HIS COMMANDS), the reverse with a central Anhalt coat of arms circumscribed by inscription ALBRECHT
