The badge was worn by the Flemish Volunteers in the N. S. K. K., who were members of the V. N. V. (Vlaamsch National Verbond, or Flamish National Union); this pro German organization in Belgium (also known as "Black Brigades", because of colors of their uniforms), was based on similar principles and goals established by Nazi regime in
