A well preserved Kriegsmarine tropical visored field cap, constructed of gently ribbed khaki tan cotton cloth. It is fully surrounded by decorated side panels which are fixed in place with a row of stitching along the top edge. Each side of the crown is flanked by dual ventilation holes, all reinforced with magnetic metal grommets. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a brown rayon
