Known as the Model 1939 American Service Shoe these low quarter boots were also called walking out boots by USGIs. These were standard issue to US troops serving in the Army and Air Force at the start of WW2, eventually replaced by the rough out boot. This pair is in very good wearable condition but there is some service wear. The boots are made from russet brown leather with a leather toe cap and a two piece
