Instituted 6 April 1937 by Duke Carl Eduard of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. (1937 1939 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse overlaid by a central black enameled DRK style German national eagle, with featuring highlighted in gilt, bearing a central DRK insignia, clutching a blackened and gilded wreathed mobile
