Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by an NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with swivel attachment claws and a clip retaining a separate clasp, the buckle maker marked with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) code M4 22 for Christian Theodor Dicke, Ldenscheid and the clasp marked with RZM code M4 46 Wilhelm
