Can reach up to 150 tall, but usually stays closer to 70 90 tall and only 25 wide. Gorgeous, fern like foliage that turns orange before dropping in the fall, and tiny "pine" cones. Trunks can get large and heavily fluted, with highly textured bark. Unusual! Until a patch was found in the 1950s it was thought this tree was extinct, only found in fossil records dating
