This is the small scrapbook of Tec. 4 Horace Holliday, an African American soldier who served in France during World War II. The scrapbook measures roughly 5 x 6 and contains 30 photos, with some bits of ephemera as well. The neatest piece is the Memorandum Reciept dated June 2nd, 1944 which shows that he was issued 1903 Springfield Rifle #1443016 with his bayonet and ammunition. Weve never seen one of these before!
