This is it! One of the revolvers that started it all for Samuel Colt! These early design revolvers were manufactured beginning in 1837 at Colt's Paterson, New Jersey factory, run by the Patent Arms Manufacturing Company. Powered by the Passaic River next to the "Great Falls" of Paterson, total production was less than 3,000 revolvers before the business ultimately failed in 1842. During this time several different models
