Borderlands pendant What sparks me to paint14" x 18", Acrylic In this page torn from a Red Ryder comic, it took artist Fred Harman only an oxcart, a sombrero topped figure in a serape, and the iconic saguaro to evoke the laid back flavor of the land between Tucson and Old Mexico. In contrast are the intricately ornate Mexican spurs of the highest craftsmanship, my iconic take on the contrasts of our beloved Southwest.
